Road closure for essential gas work on Clandon Road, Woking
From Monday 05 August for two weeks SGN contractors I&G Utilities Limited will be carrying out work to reinforce the gas network. This work is essential to ensure they can continue to provide a safe and efficient gas supply to the wider community.
Due to the gas main running directly across Clandon Road, they will need to have a road closure in place – map below showing location of the closure. This closure will mean no through vehicle access along Clarendon Road in either direction.
Vehicle access to Clandon Road either side of the hard closure will be maintained, access will be via the appropriate signed diversion route.
Bus routes will be impacted – please contact your service provider for more information regarding changes to bus routes, bus stop locations, and timetables.
